WhatsApp has released a feature that will make it easier to initiate a discussion with other users, even if their phone number is not recorded as a contact.
The new feature, which is accessible on both iOS and Android cellphones, allows you to start a chat with a stranger by inputting their phone number into the app.
Previously, users who didn’t want to start a chat with an unknown person without saving their phone number as a contact had to resort to a variety of workarounds that were either inconvenient or needed the installation of another software.
